Alpine The 2022 Season is officially over with the end of the Pirelli tyre testing day in Abu Dhabi. Pierre has completed 130 laps while Jack has completed 111 laps. See you in 2023 everyone!twitter.com
I was on twitter a few days ago when I came across the old Infiniti Motorsport account that had some posts about the Renault F1 team before the name was changed to Alpine. There was a tweet saying that the 2020 Renault F1 car saved 16KG of fuel thanks to the ERS (Energy Recovery System) co-developed with Infiniti aka Nissan. So is it true, did they actually work on the systems/engine ?
Are we the most hated f1 team? Almost every comment on their tweets, or tweets about them or any drivers for them is bad. Or is it simply because I’m an alpine fan myself and only react on those? Everyone is making fun of the team and their engine. But hey, I don’t see mclaren, aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Williams, haas or alpha tauri making their own.
