Any ideas what might be open? I got nowhere to be. Up for anything.
I'd like to find an authentic Japanese restaurant like Hiro on 90th Street. Our family is now too big to be seated there, and they don't take reservations so there's no guarantee we'd get seating together for even eight people. It can be anywhere in the valley.
The requirements are that the purpose of the place is to serve Japanese food and sake, and that the chef is Japanese. It needs to be traditional, and have rotating seasonal fish. In January I'd expect bonito, maybe ankimo, maybe shishamo. It can't be a trendy sushi bar. The waitresses serve in the Japanese style (they don't come to your table unless you call them).
More requirements: the food isn't Asian fusion, it isn't Korean. Possibly the menu is confusing because it's in Japanese with terse English translations. We order randomly various items at various times.
These restaurants don't meet the requirements: Bei, Zu Izakaya, Ra, Kyoto.
Any price range is fine.
Looking for Christmas eve church services to bring out of town family. Christian or non denominational. Upbeat with band

I want to introduce my boring midwestern in-laws to collard greens for Thanksgiving. I’d like to toss a ham hock in the mix but I don’t know where to buy one. Help!
Does anyone have recommendations of where/who I should order a last minute thanksgiving dinner for two from???
about a building that ended up having a pretty crazy history. Got me thinking about any other little nooks around that are worth scoping out in person/reading about?
I have been screwed over by a Scottsdale car dealer and I am at wits end. I'll delete if this isn't allowed but find my story at ChapmanFordLeftMeStranded.com
In town and wanted to go hiking. 9, 11 and 12 year old kids. They’re active and athletic. Handled Lookout Mountain ok.
Camelback says it’s not for beginners. Thoughts on if some trails would be ok.
Or any tips on other areas. Wanted to hike for two hours, hour up and hour down.
Hello, good people of Scottsdale. I am reaching out to you from Bellingham, Washington and I'm hungry. Back in 2014 or so, I had the best enchilada's of my life and I've been dreaming of them ever since. Somehow, by a miracle or something (mostly it was my wife's help, actually), we figured out that they were the Poblano Cream Chicken Enchiladas from Frank & Lupe's.
Here's how they are described on the website menu:
3 rolled enchiladas with cream of poblano sauce, beans, rice, and avocado chicken on top.
I've looked up some similar-sounding recipes, but I don't really know if they are the same or if I'm missing a secret ingredient or anything. Does anyone have any tips or intel?
These seem kinda close.... maybe?
Thanks for your help!
Does anyone know of someone/somewhere to get 2 patches sewn on? The places online look like they’re more for dress alterations etc…
I have a friend coming to the area at the end of the year and I’m brainstorming ideas for NYE. Aside from hosting or going to a house party, what are your favorite things to do on NYE?
Good places to purchase cars from? Not looking to deal with shady salesmen. Would like a Toyota or Honda. Thanks in advance!
Just moved from Michigan to Scottsdale and am looking for a good sports bar to watch the Michigan Ohio State football game? Maybe one with lots of Michigan fans and good screens
12/1 would be ideal. Earlier can work out.
Cookie, my mini Bernedoodle, and I just moved to the Old Town area from Florida and we were hoping to find some dog friendly places we could walk to and socialize with others.
We’re near 10 wine lofts if that helps give you an idea. Any suggestions would be great!
Hello, do the bars in old town charge a cover or sell tickets on New Year’s Eve? Don’t need the crazy clubs like bottled blonde etc
Hey ya'll - Looking for some suggestions on christmas markets and other activities in the greater scottsdale area. Essentially, fun things to do at christmas. It's only two of us, no kids, no family in the area. Anything that stands out? Thanks in advance
Living here Just came back from a 3 day conference at the JW Marriott and noticed the number of attractive people in Scottsdale in general, both men and women. Has this level of attractiveness existed all throughout Scottsdale's history?
Hey all. Just as the title says, I was blown away at the number of attractive people in Scottsdale, specifically Paradise Valley, the community of McCormick Ranch, patrons at Fashion Square, downtown Phoenix, etc. Has this always been the case? Most are well dressed and simply look good.
Looking for any recommendations for good doggy daycares in the area. Two I’ve heard so far are Paw Commons and Bark Avenue. Appreciate any feedback.
Hello! My husband(29m) and I(27f) are looking at a possible relocation to Scottsdale with our 2 y/o! What are some good areas for us to look at? Something walkable or closer to a park? Any apartment complexes you recommend? His job would be located around old town Scottsdale. We are looking for a 2 bedroom or a 1 bedroom with a den/office! We definitely want something more updated. Absolutely need to have a full size washer and dryer! Thank you!
